Never had a Dyson before and via research had found mixed reports, mainly due to the weight of the product. However, I am very satisfied (thus far) with my cleaner, and do not find the weight with this product a problem due to its manuverability with the roller ball and extensions. My carpets have not looked as clean and fluffed up since new, especially as the DC41 picks up all dog hairs from hard to get places.

Best price I could find and here by the Monday having ordered just two days before. Advances in vacuums are very noticeable as our previous one was 20 years old and this Dyson DC41 Animal is rampant. Well designed with no suction pipes flapping around as seemed to be the case with some other manufacturers.

Prompt delivery at competitive price. This is my 4th Dyson over many years but have concerns. Very difficult to push over carpet with any decent pile due to super suction power and that's on lowest setting. Yes it pulls lots out of the carpet but need muscles and pushing power!

Needed to buy our very first vacuum and after some research decided on this model, I shopped around and this website has the best price by far. Vacuum works well on hard floors, haven't tried on carpet yet but based on ALL the reviews I've read it should be good on carpet too. Cannot fault JCCampbell, quick turn around and no problems whatsoever. Thank you!
As others have said this is the cheapest place to get this product and the turnaround by J C Campbell was excellent. I ordered it first thing last Thursday before going to work and by Friday night it had made it from the land of my birth to a depot in North Essex.
(The fact that Parcel Force then waited until Monday to deliver it to my door is more a reflection on them).
Excellent product so far, I've been making lawn tennis stripes in the carpet such is the suction on this thing.

Very quick service and best price on the web. A lot better than our old DC07, gives the carpet a much better beating over the DC07. Also bought bought a Vax air lift at the same time. Both hoovers perform as well as each other but you can tell the Dyson will out last the Vax due to its build quality. Yes the Dyson handle does flex a bit but its done for durability.

Powerful vacuum. A bit pricey compared to other vacuums, but had my old Dyson for many years so I'm happy to pay for a vacuum that will give many more years of use over cheaper products. Previous Dyson was over 20 years old and still works fine, but wanted to upgrade. Just tried out new one and it certainly is powerful. Great Dyson product. The product itself is good, but I think a little overrated as manoeuvrability is not the best and I find the hose attachment a bit of a pain. The vacuum has a tendency to fall down whilst using the hose as well. Decent suction but not worth the full RRP.

Was put off by all the 5* reviews...BUT don't be because I purchased the Dyson with over £150 saving. Ordered it Friday morning expecting it Tues-Weds following week...but it came first thing Monday morning.
Phoned before I purchased and staff were all very helpful on the phone.
Dyson itself is very powerful on suction, BUT very poor build.

Dyson has extremely good suction, had to turn it right down to minimum as worried dog might disappear as well as all the dog hairs! I agree with another reviewer that this model doesn't seem quite as sturdy as the older model it replaces but only time will tell. I have to say however that it is much easier to handle than the older model and has a lower profile which makes cleaning under furniture easier. All in all very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend the site and the product.

Very pleased with the cleaner, but found the hose length not long enough when cleaning the stair with a hand held brush. It's a minor point, hence the 4star quality. Far better than the DC24 I had with improved suction and better carpet brush. Excellent service and quick delivery at a very competitive price. The dyson is excellent and puts my old dyson to shame. It picks up so much more and the filter is easy to clean and get to. The ball takes a bit of getting use to after using a conventional one for so long but only time will tell. Very happy with it and hope it lasts as long as my other one.

My old dyson broke down 6 days before Christmas -- so bit of a panic ! A few checks and a chat to JC Campbell's to get a bit more info on the options and as promised they sent the New Dyson out straight away ... Unfortunately came a day later than promised as delayed with the courier... However best bit was got before Christmas and it's soooo much better than my old one !! Compared to my old one it looks neater , lighter more manoeuvrable and great suction ! Certainly gets under furniture better as has a lower profile ! Great piece of kit and JC Campbell's has one of the best prices that I could find :-) So one happy bunny !
Will definitely recommend this company. The Dyson arrived in perfect order within 2 days of purchase and was the best price on the internet. Purchase experience was simple and straight forward. I did quite a bit of research and this is one of the best vacuums on the market and really lifts the appearance of carpets - no real downsides. It replaces a Dyson DC25 Animal given on to a family member. Very good tools come with it.

This is still the best tool for the job. I bought a second one although it's not perfect. Build quality seems poorer than the early Dysons (like the Mk1 DC41: floppy handle, fiddly hose catches, on-off switch not positive, stand-upright action not positive). Note the Mk2 has a narrower head than Mk1 so we trade a lower power motor for more work and time pushing and pulling. Note also if a small part needs replacing you have to buy a big sub-system (in the case of our Mk1: failure of a little roller wheel needs the whole beater head and motor replacing, failure of the little red plastic catch holding the cyclone canister on the frame needs the whole canister replacing).

As previous owners of a Dyson that for nearly 8 years has been great, with good service from the company, replacement parts supplied when heavy-handedly I broke them, the replacement make was never in doubt. This model is great. The head is lower than our old one so fits under furniture better. The ball makes for easy movement and wow - what a suck!

However, I am concerned that it was left in the open outside my door when I was out. Also unhappy that there is no delivery note, and no facility offered for returns if it arrived damaged or defective.

It's always a bit of a gamble ordering from a new company but the process was simple and straightforward and the Dyson DC41 was dispatched and delivered quickly and efficiently. The price being offered by JC Campbell was the best that I could find too - especially given that Dysons are pricey!

Very powerful vacuum cleaner, I could not believe the amount of cat hair it removed just after the carpet had been previously cleaned with our 8 year old Dyson. Recommended.
Excellent value had to work at controlling it as i have a been using a DC14 which is much heavier.

Great (friendly) service, much quieter than the old DC07, easy to use, not too heavy, does not feel as strong as past models but having had it fall over a few times it is taking it in it's stride. Suction is great, anti tangle tool is brilliant on stairs!

We purchased this new cleaner to replace a much older Dyson model. We chose the Animal version as we now have a dog and a cat. We researched the Dyson range fairly comprehensively online and have not been disappointed. J.C.
