Delivery

We offer FREE UK wide delivery on items over £50.00. Orders below £50.00 will be charged £4.99 shipping.

We offer FREE delivery to Republic of Ireland (ROI) on most items over £50.00.  For larger appliances where a third party courier is required, there may be an additional fee. Please send us an email to [email protected] for a quotation.

Alternative Shipping options:

Express Parcelforce Delivery - Dispatched same working day on a 24-hour service if ordered before 1.00pm. If ordered after 1.00pm it will be dispatched next working day on a 24-hour service.

Saturday Parcelforce Delivery - If choosing this option when ordering on a Friday, we must receive the order before 1.00pm. If ordered after 1.00pm your order will be dispatched to arrive the following Saturday.

Please be advised that Express and Saturday Delivery do not apply to large appliances such as Washing Machines, Dishwashers etc.

Our aim is to deliver most goods ordered within 7-10 working days from date of the order being accepted.

Please note that weekends and bank holidays do not count for delivery/order processing purposes.

We will always do our best to meet delivery times, however some deliveries may take a little longer, particularly around public holidays.

Most goods can be delivered free to Mainland UK, however not all large appliances are available to all UK mainland addresses.  You will be advised if delivery is not available to your location when you enter your delivery address. If delivery is not available to your area, payment will not be taken. If you live in the Republic of Ireland we can deliver but you may incur additional charges (e-mail us for a quotation).

If the product that you have selected is not available at the time of placing your order, and it is necessary for us to order directly from the manufacturer, you will be contacted to advise you of a delay. We will keep you up to date with the progress of your order if the item is delayed for any reason.

If you decide not to continue with the order, any payment you have made will be credited to your account within 7 days of your order being cancelled. This does not affect your statutory rights.

When you have booked your delivery date for your Large Appliance, it is your responsibility to be available to accept delivery on that date.  Should the delivery fail due to you being unavailable to accept it, a redelivery may be arranged however, the second delivery will be at a cost to the customer. Should you wish to cancel your order after delivery has been attempted and failed due to you being unavailable to accept it, any delivery charge or payments (e.g. Installation) made for services will not be refunded.

IMPORTANT

It is your responsibility to check your goods upon delivery for shortages or damage and to make a note of such on the carriers consignment note when you sign for the goods. Any damage must be reported to us by phone or e-mail within 3 days of delivery.

Delivery of larger products, such as American Fridge Freezers, Range Cookers etc. will be to the nearest point of access. These may be delivered on a pallet by one person.

You must advise of any access restrictions at your delivery address (narrow doorways, stairs, parking etc.). This can be entered in the Additional Information box at checkout. When you are contacted to arrange a suitable delivery day you should also reiterate these restrictions. We may be able to arrange a 2 person delivery team if advance notice is given and a £30 fee will apply. This must be paid in advance of delivery.

Cancellation & Returns

If you wish to cancel your order prior to dispatch, you must email us first at [email protected] and wait for a cancellation email.

If you cancel your order after dispatch but before delivery, the returns cost will be deducted from any refund due.

You have the right to cancel your order within seven working days from date of delivery and return the goods supplied to us for a full refund. You must notify us in writing or by email within the seven days of your intention to cancel the contract. If you cancel your order, any goods supplied must be returned to the retailer at your own expense within 7 days of your notice to cancel.

Providing the goods are returned unused, unopened, in original condition, complete with all packaging, in an "as new" condition and all accessories and leads including any free gifts you will receive a full refund, less any delivery and/or collection charges, within 30 days of giving us your notice to cancel. We are unable to accept back goods for a credit if they are unwanted gifts or non-faulty items 14 days after the purchase date. These Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Returned goods not complying with the above may be rejected or subject to a minimum of 25% deduction from any refund due. Please note that if you cancel an order, which has been processed and dispatched or if you refuse delivery of your item from the courier, you will be refunded the value of the goods less the return costs. The 7-day period does not start until the day after receipt of the goods by the customer. Monies will only be refunded once we have received the returned goods, this may take up to a maximum of 14 working days.

A deduction may be made for any accessories not returned.

J.C. Campbell Electrics will not accept cancellation of any orders where the item(s) purchased are not normally held in stock but have been specifically ordered at the request of the customer.

If you have paid for additional Installation or Removal services and you wish to cancel these services, this must be cancelled 48 hours before the booked delivery date.

If you have paid for Installation, Disconnection or Removal (for recycling) Services please note that you are responsible for ensuring that the space is available to accommodate the appliance and to ensure that the set-up is adequate for our delivery company to install the appliance. Our delivery company can only connect to existing electrical or plumbing supplies; that is Like for Like. Where any additional work is required, this must be completed prior to the Delivery/Installation date. Additional work includes any form of plumbing, additional connectors, electrical or carpentry work. If at any time of connection our delivery company deems any aspect of the connection not to be feasible it is at their discretion not to proceed. Please contact us directly if this should occur.

There will be no refund for services where our delivery company cannot install due to risk of flood, incorrect measurements, safety factors, where extension leads or hoses have been used or the wrong product has been ordered.

If an installation fails because the customer did not inform us of any reason why it may not be successful or because the customer did not comply with the reasons mentioned above, we reserve the right to charge the full installation/delivery fee.

Refunds

Full refund of the cost of the goods will be given upon the above conditions being met and the refund will be authorised only after a full inspection of the goods by our Returns department, who will check if all the correct products have been returned with the correct accessories and their condition. Any missing accessories will be deducted from the refund.
